Celebrate International Archaeology Day with us! Our City Archaeologist, Chris Schwartz, will offer a guided tour of The Park of Four Waters from 9:30 am–11:00 am. Located 10 acres south of the Va’aki (platform mound), The Park of Four Waters contains preserved remains of major irrigation canals that supplied water to most Ancestral O’odham villages on the north side of the Salt River. Discover how these advanced canal systems were created and their impact on S’edav Va’aki and beyond.
