Get ready for the next installment of our Thursday evening programming, Parched: Speaker Series!


Join us on March 5, 2026, at 6pm in the S’ed̲av Va’aki Community Room for a very special guest lecture featuring Glory Tacheenie-Campoy, the artist behind Adáádáá’ nizhónîgo nahóółtá (Yesterday we had a beautiful rain) that is on display at the museum.


The Parched speaker series showcases artists featured in the changing exhibit at SVM, which explores the role of water in the Southwest through an artistic lens.

Glory Tacheenie-Campoy’s Diné maternal clan is Kiinyaá á nii (Tall Tower). Her paternal clan is Bįį Biitoodnii (Deer Water). In university, she enjoyed classes in 3-D arts, including ceramics, sculpture, painting, and printmaking. She creates abstract and experimental art using materials inspired by her experiences, the environment, and current events.
